Caring for your child’s teeth and gums starts with you. You can foster good habits at an early age and set your child on the path to excellent oral hygiene by teaching them about dental care early on in life.
We recommend you bring your child in for their first dental appointment before their first birthday or as soon as their first tooth erupts. This initial visit allows your dentist to perform a wellness check on your baby’s mouth and gums.
We suggest scheduling an appointment for check-ups every six months, allowing your dentist to identify any problems early when many of them are easier to treat. Your dentist can also give you advice on how to care for your child’s teeth.
As your child grows, we monitor their oral development so we can catch issues such as the need for orthodontic treatment. We work closely with you to ensure your child has healthy teeth and gums for life.
